IT Planned Maintenance Notification – Oracle Security Patching – Q3 Updates

SUMMARY

  • A planned maintenance window has been scheduled for the HID Oracle EBS Production on August 24th ,2025 between 02:00 to 08:00 UTC.

IMPACT

  • During this maintenance window, customers may encounter temporary disruptions in processing and generating orders, along with the following services being impacted.
    • Oracle EBS Production
    • Oracle Agile Production
    • Oracle Analytics Cloud
    • Webshop access to EBS
    • Oracle Isupplier and other related services that render data from EBS will be unavailable

Infrastructure Maintenance - HID Origo Mobile Identities – Event Callbacks Version Upgrade

SUMMARY

  • A maintenance event is planned for HID Origo on August 30 between 05:00–11:00 UTC.

IMPACT

  • During this maintenance window, Mobile app users and Wallet customers may encounter temporary disruptions in processing event callbacks.

SUMMARY

  • A maintenance event is planned for HID Origo on August 31st between 01:00 - 03:00 UTC.

REGIONS AFFECTED

  • China (APAC East)

IMPACT

  • During the disruption window, users may experience brief periods of unavailability for the following HID Origo Services for China.

    • HID Origo Management Portal: Users will experience issues and/or delays with Invitation Code and Mobile ID management. This will impact onboarding, user management, and the processing of new contracts.
    • HID Mobile Access App: Users will experience issues redeeming Invitation Codes or receiving Mobile IDs.
    • HID Reader Manager App: Users will experience issues redeeming Invitation Codes or receiving Keys.
    • There will be delay in processing the order and contracts for Mobile Identities.

Urgent: Perform required, major upgrade for Reader Manager App by January 25, 2024, scheduled 1 year ago

Summary

  • A new version of Reader Manager (1.18) will be required in order to continue operation as of January 25, 2024

Impact

-Older versions of Reader Manager prior to 1.18 will cease to operate -Enhancements include improved security of the application and reader configuration

  • The app will disable the configuration card used during inspection, identify legacy technologies currently enabled on the SE reader, and offer the opportunity to disable legacy technologies
  • Once a legacy technology is disabled, you will have to contact HID to re-enable it
