SUMMARY

  • A maintenance event is planned for HID Origo on August 30 between 05:00–11:00 UTC.

IMPACT

  • During this maintenance window, Mobile app users and Wallet customers may encounter temporary disruptions in processing event callbacks.

*A maintenance event is planned for HID Origo on August 30 between 17:00 to August 31 08:00 UTC

IMPACT

*During this maintenance window there may be intermittent time out issues on Get events API .

Infrastructure Maintenance - HID Origo Device Management (ODM) Document DB update to 5.x Production

SUMMARY

  • A maintenance event is planned for HID Origo Device Management (ODM) on September 6th between 03:30-05:30 UTC.

IMPACT

  • During this maintenance window, users will experience brief periods of unavailability for HID Origo Device Management (ODM) services.
    • HID Reader Manager,HID Linq Cloud,HID Linq On-Prem and other products that rely on HID Origo Device Management (ODM) services will be affected.
    • No action is required from users. Services will resume automatically after the change window.

Infrastructure Maintenance - HID Origo Connected Architecture (OCA) Production

SUMMARY

  • A maintenance event is planned for HID Origo Connected Architecture (OCA) on the following date for respective region.
    • September 6th 2025 between 05:00 - 06:00 UTC on EU region,
    • September 6th 2025 between 06:00 - 07:00 UTC on US region.

IMPACT

  • During this maintenance window, HID Origo Connected Architecture (OCA) application and Linq Cloud may experience brief periods of disruption.

  • Production - EU and US regions
Infrastructure Maintenance - CNIDC Production (China)

SUMMARY

  • A maintenance event is planned for HID Origo on September 6th between 11:00 - 13:00 UTC.

REGIONS AFFECTED

  • China (APAC East)

IMPACT

  • During the disruption window, users may experience brief periods of unavailability for the following HID Origo Services for China.

    • HID Origo Management Portal: Users will experience issues and/or delays with Invitation Code and Mobile ID management. This will impact onboarding, user management, and the processing of new contracts.
    • HID Mobile Access App: Users will experience issues redeeming Invitation Codes or receiving Mobile IDs.
    • HID Reader Manager App: Users will experience issues redeeming Invitation Codes or receiving Keys.
    • There will be delay in processing the order and contracts for Mobile Identities.

Infrastructure Maintenance - Subscription Components in Production

SUMMARY

  • A planned maintenance window has been scheduled for the HID Origo Subscription Component on September 6th between 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM UTC.

IMPACT

  • No downtime is expected for customer-facing functionalities (HID Origo Management Portal, Wallet, HID Mobile Access App). However, operations related to subscription components may experience minor database slowness during the deployment window. All services will remain available, though some background processes may run slower than usual.

SUMMARY

  • A maintenance event is planned for HID Origo on September 13th between 11:00 – 13:00 UTC.

REGIONS AFFECTED

  • China (APAC East)

IMPACT

  • Please be informed that the Origo Portal will undergo scheduled maintenance during this period. As a result, certain services will be temporarily unavailable or may experience limited functionality. The impacted services include:
    • Pass issuance – Users may not be able to generate or activate new passes during the maintenance window.
    • Issuance code redemption – Redemption of issuance codes may be restricted or delayed until the maintenance is complete

HID Mobile Access App version 4.5.0, scheduled 1 year ago

Dear Valued Customers,

HID is pleased to announce the release of HID Mobile Access App version 4.5.0, which is now available on the app stores. We highly recommend you upgrade to this version in order to take advantage of the latest features.

HID Biometric Manager v. 1.0.2000.00030, scheduled 1 year ago

Dear Customer, As a follow up to our notification on April 5th 2024, we are happy to announce the release of HID Biometric Manager (HBM) version 1.0.2000.00030. This version contains a fix that resolves the issues with loading ICE and MOB keys as well as configuring BLE parameters for Signo 25B devices after shutdown of the Reader Manager 1.0 service previously used. At present there is still a limitation on firmware upgrades being applied to the Signo 25B which will be addressed in a future release.

Please utilize the Update function within HID Biometric Manager to obtain this latest version. It is a mandatory update for any customers who need to utilize Elite or MOB keys on their devices, and an optional update for all other customers.

The new version is an update of the RCAM component of HBM only, the rest of the solution, including the Signo 25B firmware, remain in their previous versions (SP2.6). We apologize for the inconvenience this issue may have caused and sincerely apologize for any disruption to your operations caused by this change.
