HID Mobile Access - Performance Issues Tuesday 8th January 2019 02:00:00


The HID Mobile Access Portal and API are experiencing intermittent performance issues, which occasionally result in increased response times, error rates and timeouts.

These performance issues are most commonly seen at around 01:45 UTC and 06:30 UTC. We are working to find a resolution as soon as possible.

Having closely monitored the HID Mobile Access service following some of the recent actions taken to improve stability and performance, we can now confirm systems are back to stable operations.

We are also working on release v4.8.5 of the HID Mobile Access Portal which includes performance enhancements for portal screens. This release is expected to be deployed during March.

A maintenance activity was carried out on February 11 to improve service stability and address the recurring performance issues. We are monitoring the situation closely to confirm service stability has improved.

An upcoming release of the HID Mobile Access Portal is expected to provide some level of improvement to responsiveness of the user interface.

A patch was released on January 24 which should result in reduced impact of the performance issues. Further corrective actions are in progress.
