KNOWN ISSUE, scheduled 11 months ago


The HID Origo Management Portal service is intermittently operating at reduced performance.

Many performance issues are resolved, but we have identified additional opportunities for improvement which will be gradually rolled out over the next few weeks. This post will be updated with additional information on improvements being made.


  • Multiple login needed to access
  • Difficulties to edit mobile users
  • Login screen timed out, resulting in that customer can't log in
  • Customers got a blank screen after log in
  • Slow loading of pages
  • Export failed for large customers
  • After log in, specific screens timed out when trying to access. Edit user, issue credential and edit organization

List of Changes

  • The Quick Search is now limited to displaying the 100 users which were most recently added or modified ** The Advanced Search can be used to search and view all users

  • Sep 18: Disabled analytics widgets in the portal

  • Sep 25: Implemented performance tuning on an API consumed by the portal to retrieve user data

  • Sep 25: Implemented an Export All feature to address certain limitations in user export functionality

  • Sep 30: Fixed an issue in the user export functionality

  • Oct 07: Isolated user export functionality in a separate service to improve performance and reduce global impact

  • Oct 07: Blank screen issues resolved
